When you open the Facebook app, you’ll see a list of notifications. If you don’t see a red number next to the Facebook Messenger icon, then you have no new messages. If you’re unable to see your Facebook messages on Messenger, there are a few possible explanations: -Your Facebook messages may be hidden from view. To see them, click on the “Messages” tab at the top of the Facebook page and select “Inbox.” -You may be using the Facebook chat feature on the Messenger app, which only allows you to see messages from people on your Facebook friends list.
